This is the goal right? Every artist, producer, musician wants to get out of their job so they can focus on music full time.

There’s a catch 22 here though. We need a job to make money.
That job takes our time.
Now we have money for music but we don’t have time for music.

This then become a balancing act where we have to rely on time management. We have never been taught how to balance a passion and a work life, not in school anyway.

Make sure to subscribe to my youtube channel also because i upload this kind of content on a frequent basis.

See as an independent artist you aren;t stuck in the box you think you are. You are absolutely free to make money any which way you like. In fact if you think you’re going to get rich off music alone…you’re going to have a bad time.

Music is the key, not the house.

Music is what will make you relevant enough to sit in the seats with big interviewers and having your work based on big platforms. Your music will be an advertisement for your lifestyle and brand. Once the eyes are on you it’s going to amplify your sales in product and merchandise. Once eyes are on you, companies will be in touch to endorse you. Thats when you will make ‘music money’.

Until then you need to shop your skills and services and build a brand around them and flirt with music throughout, money needs to be focus number one. Once you have the money, create the music that’s going to get eyes and ears that will allow you to amplify.
